Well done to Chris Millington, who set a new West Lancs Tri Club 10km running Record this month!
Chris set a new record time of 35 minutes and 53 seconds in the Ormskirk 10km Road Race on the 23rd September 2018, eclipsing the old time set by Mark Howard, which had stood for a very long time.
The icing on the cake was that Chris came 2nd in the Ormskirk 10km against a high calibre local field.
Well done to my Brother, David Thomson for successfully defending his North West Biathlon title this month.
Together with fellow West Lancs Tri Club members Jonathan Paxton [3rd place] and Richard Mercer [4th place], David helped the club lift the Team Title for a record breaking 21st time.
We have now completed a staggering 238 plus races as a club in 2017 and we are well on our way to completing 450 events during the year.
Keep them coming!
We’re now up to 215 events in 2017, so let’s keep it going to make our target!
3 West Lancs Tri Club members completed this week long endurance event totalling 52 miles.
Well done to–
