It’s been a busy month at West Lancs Tri Club. James O’Neill set a new mens mile record of 23 mins and 39 seconds and a new Ironman record of 57 mins and 49 seconds.
Colin Eastham has won 6 consecutive Tri events and Chris Millington won the Aintree 10km.
The Tour of Merseyside was completed by Angela Crerar Connor. The O’Neill family, including James completed the Derwentwater 1 mile swim.
Kevin Polhill completed his first Ironman in 12 hours and 43 minutes and Owen Martin did the Liverpool to Chester Bike Ride.

We have now completed a staggering 104 events as a club in 2016!
The 100th event was completed on 03.03.2016 by Jane Warner. She completed the Roddlesworth Roller run in 55 minutes and 53 seconds. Keep on going! only another 196 events to go to achieve our target!!
Stuart Russell, our most prolific competitor of 2015 with over 30 events, has already completed 2 marathons of 26.2 miles.
They are the Liverbird Marathon on 1st January and the Grizedale Marathon on the 7th February. Well done!
we aim to surpass our 2015 total of 204 events this year by reaching 300 in 2016!
